About the Architect
Bernard Geldenhuys
I am a Professional Registered Architect with the South African Council for the Architectural Profession(SACAP) and also a member of the Cape Institute For Architects (CIA) and South African Institute for Architects (SAIA)
Ontwerp Architecture was a work in progress since 2005 while completing my Masters degree in Architecture.
I’m inspired by the projects I get to work on. In all my designs, I strive to find the perfect balance between comfort, simplicity and beauty. My goal is not only to create beautiful structures, but to improve the way we live. I’m passionate about people and spaces, and I always design with functionality in mind.
Ontwerp Architecture specialize in custom designs with my goal being to enhance the way people interact with the spaces they spend the most time in. My inspiration comes from urban cityscapes and my designs imbue beauty, flexibility, and purpose. I always maintain my client’s vision at every step of the process.
